DALLAS, TX – A man went on an audacious crime spree across several cities on Thursday, leaving a trail of chaos in his wake. Authorities have identified the suspect as 55-year-old Gregory Noble, whom they say is well-known to law enforcement.
The rampage began on Dallas Parkway, where Noble allegedly stole a vehicle containing a handgun. Just minutes later, he reportedly targeted a bank on Preston Road for an armed robbery. The pursuit then moved swiftly to an Audi dealership on Lemon Avenue, where he is accused of threatening staff and fleeing with a customer’s car.
As the evening unfolded, Noble’s actions became increasingly brazen. After a failed attempt to steal another vehicle nearby, he allegedly fired a gun into the air at an elementary school parking lot before making off with the principal’s car. The spree continued with a carjacking involving a woman and her child on Rosser Road.
Crossing into Farmers Branch, Noble allegedly abandoned one vehicle only to seize another at gunpoint. His path of destruction led him to Coppell, where he is accused of committing yet another carjacking. The final leg of his journey took him to Irving, where he reportedly ditched his last stolen vehicle for yet another.
Authorities finally caught up with Noble in Dallas, where he led them on a two-mile chase before crashing in a parking lot off Singleton Boulevard. The standoff with police ended after more than an hour, with SWAT teams called in to assist.
In all, Noble’s crime spree included seven stolen vehicles, a bank robbery, and a series of felonious acts across multiple jurisdictions. Investigators report that he faces numerous charges for his actions, which they say amounted to at least 14 violent felonies committed in a matter of hours.
Noble’s criminal history is extensive, with previous convictions including another bank robbery. At the time of his arrest, authorities found only a small amount of cash on him, leaving questions about the proceeds from the bank heist unanswered.
The community remains in disbelief over the breadth of Noble’s actions, which disrupted the lives of many and required a massive police response to bring to an end.
