SAN ANTONIO, Texas – A man was taken into custody in connection with a violent assault and a death threat against his girlfriend, as reported by the local police. According to the arrest affidavit, the woman was allegedly assaulted by her boyfriend, Johnathan Turner, 28, at their Northwest side residence on Friday. The victim accused Turner of pulling her hair, punching her multiple times in the face, and kicking her while she was on the ground. Turner then allegedly grabbed a gun and put it to her temple.

Turner was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and has a bond set at $65,000. He is currently awaiting his March prehearing in Bexar County Jail.
