The Durham Police Department announced on Friday that they have identified Sincere Bostic, 18, as the perpetrator linked to the violent incident.
On June 29, officers responded to a call reporting gunfire at a residence on Middle Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Jayquon Tayborn, 20, with critical injuries, alongside a teenage girl who also sustained injuries in the attack. While the girl is expected to recover, Tayborn succumbed to his wounds.
Bostic has been charged with murder, but law enforcement is currently unable to apprehend him.
