Beloved Cameraman’s Stress from Horrific Plane Crash Contributed to Fatal Aneurysm, Widow Believes

Melbourne, Australia – A tragic plane crash in Victoria has claimed the lives of two beloved cameramen, with the second victim passing away weeks after the accident. Nick Beaney, 61, was working alongside colleague James Rose and Jetworks Aviation pilot Stephen Gale on November 19 before the fatal crash in Port Phillip Bay. The crash occurred when the former military jet collided midair with a second aircraft over the water near Melbourne.

Mr Beaney died on December 28, six weeks after the crash, after suffering an aneurysm. His wife, Siobhan, believes the stress of the crash contributed to his death. Mr Beaney had known Mr Rose since he was born, as he was friends with his father, David Rose, having worked in the Seven newsroom together some 40 years ago. Mr Beaney was burdened with the responsibility of telling David Rose of his son’s death following the crash.

At Mr Beaney’s memorial service, the couple’s eldest son, Angus, said his father was ‘always there’ and will miss playing chess and pool with him, their favorite games. The police and ATSB probes into the crash continue, with the pilot of the second plane managing to fly back to Essendon Airport.

The trauma from the horror plane crash is believed to have contributed to the death of the second beloved cameraman, Nick Beaney, 61, who passed away weeks after the tragic accident. The crash, which rocked the television world, resulted in the deaths of cameraman James Rose and Jetworks Aviation pilot Stephen Gale. This unfortunate event has left a lasting impact on the colleagues, friends, and family members of the deceased individuals. The mourning process continues as loved ones come to terms with the loss.
