According to court proceedings, the morning of the incident began innocuously as Jackson visited the woman between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. The two shared a beer, with Jackson admitting to having smoked crack cocaine prior to their meeting. After a brief grocery trip for coffee and snacks, they returned to her flat where the horrifying attack unfolded.
Witnesses noted that Jackson’s demeanor shifted dramatically. Emerging from the kitchen with a knife, he launched an assault on the woman, who described him as behaving “like a crazed animal.” The stabbing resulted in severe injuries, with one wound narrowly missing her heart.
