Grand Traverse County Sheriff Michael Shea confirmed that investigators have yet to determine a clear motive for the attack, which occurred Saturday afternoon. Gille was reported to have remained mostly silent during his arrest following the violent episode, during which he was subdued by bystanders in the parking lot within moments of the first calls to authorities.
