On December 14, police discovered the 17-year-old’s body, leading to the arrest of 16-year-old Franklin Leonard James Jr. for his alleged involvement in the crime. As a gesture of solidarity, TJ’s family organized a graduation homegoing ceremony, celebrating what would have been a significant milestone in his life, as he was slated to graduate in May.
