Dayton, Ohio — A Dayton man has been indicted on multiple counts including murder in connection with the fatal beatings of a local couple in their home earlier this month, authorities stated on Tuesday.
Cortney Lowe, 33, faces charges for the deaths of Cathy Bell, 64, and her husband, Danny Bell, 67, who were found deceased in their Holly Avenue residence on December 3. The indictment includes six counts of murder alongside four counts of felonious assault involving both serious physical harm and the use of a deadly weapon.
The arrest followed a peculiar scene on Wayne Avenue where officers encountered Lowe, disoriented and scantily clad in a t-shirt and thermal underwear despite the cold weather, noticeably stained with blood.
