DeKalb County, Ga. — A violent attempted robbery at a local gas station resulted in one death and left another individual hospitalized on Monday night. The incident unfolded shortly before 8 p.m. at an Exxon Circle K located on Covington Highway.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, two men targeted a customer exiting the store. During the attempted robbery, gunfire erupted as the suspects confronted the customer, who fought back, leading to one suspect being fatally shot.
