Employee Charged for Spitting in Customer’s Meal

MILTON, FL – A disturbing incident at a Taco Bell in Milton has resulted in the arrest of an employee, Felicia Archer, on charges of culpable negligence. The case unfolded after Archer allegedly spat in a customer’s food, leading to her arrest earlier this month.

The customer, Kristin Royle, recounted her shock upon discovering the contamination in her meal. She visited the Taco Bell on Highway 90 with her roommate on May 6, expecting a routine meal but instead found herself at the center of a troubling incident.

Police Chief Jennifer Frank confirmed that surveillance cameras captured Archer in the act, although the footage has not been made public. The authorities have shared a screenshot from the video, identifying Archer as the employee involved.

Royle described the tainted nacho cheese as nauseating, emphasizing her relief at having checked her food before consuming it. Archer later admitted to the act, attributing it to personal issues involving Royle and Archer’s boyfriend.

Chief Frank highlighted the significance of the case, noting that such incidents undermine public trust in local businesses. Ensuring food safety is a critical concern for the community.

Following the incident, Archer has been prohibited from returning to the Taco Bell. Meanwhile, Royle, who also worked there, was terminated for allegedly violating company policy by sharing the incident online.

Despite the setback, Royle expressed gratitude for her decision to inspect her meal, as it prevented potential harm. She is now searching for new employment opportunities.

The legal proceedings concluded with Archer entering a no-contest plea. She was found guilty and sentenced to six months probation.
