LINCOLN, Nebraska – A home explosion in northeast Lincoln on Tuesday morning resulted in critical injuries for one person. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. at the intersection of 53rd and Gladstone Streets, prompting a response from Lincoln Fire & Rescue.
According to spokeswoman MJ Lierman, the individual inside the home at the time of the explosion was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries. Fortunately, no other surrounding structures were harmed in the explosion.
