HOUSTON, Texas – A 17-year-old has been charged in connection with the shooting death of a 15-year-old and the injury of another teen in northwest Houston, according to police records. More than a month after the fatal shooting of Joseph Barrios, authorities have arrested and charged Jaydon Williams in the incident.
The shooting occurred at around 2 a.m. on Dec. 1, 2023, in the 4300 block of Sherwood Lane. Police responded to the scene and found Barrios unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Another 17-year-old was also injured in the shooting and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
