Fatal Stabbing in Greenfield Home Leads to Arrest; Community in Shock

In a statement released by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, officials detailed that the Greenfield Police Department was dispatched around 12:45 a.m. to the 200 block of NE 4th Street following reports of a stabbing at a home. Authorities have arrested 39-year-old Yudiel Vega-Blanco on charges of first-degree murder and willful injury causing bodily injury.
