The suspected killer, Jose Antonio Ibarra, faces a slew of new accusations in connection with Riley’s death. According to the affidavit, Ibarra is charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and kidnapping. The document alleges that during the violent attack while Riley was out for a run, Ibarra disfigured her skull by striking her with an object.
