Los Angeles, CA – A tragic incident unfolded in a Granada Hills home on Saturday night, when a man in his 80s took the lives of three of his family members before ending his own life. Authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department were alerted to the shooting at 6:50 p.m. on Lerdo Avenue, where they discovered the bodies of a woman in her 80s, a man and a woman in their 40s, and the elderly man who had apparently taken his own life.
According to Blanca Lopez, a lieutenant in LAPD’s robbery-homicide division, the victims all appeared to be related and the incident was described as an isolated one. The officers were guided to the scene by a woman, though it was not confirmed whether she was also a family member.
