The bus matron played a crucial role in shielding the students by quickly ducking and covering them as the driver navigated away from the line of fire. Thanks to their swift actions, all onboard emerged unharmed.
The New York Police Department is actively investigating and has identified four individuals involved in the shootout. These suspects, reportedly targeting each other, were last seen heading south on Trinity Avenue dressed in black, with one wearing black pants featuring white stripes.
