Astoria, Queens, New York – A gay couple was viciously attacked by a group of teenagers while walking in Astoria last week. The incident occurred on Broadway near 33rd Street around 7:30 p.m. The male victims, both 36 years old, were verbally assaulted by four teenagers who then proceeded to throw hard objects at the couple. One of the attackers then physically assaulted one of the victims by punching him in the face, causing swelling and bruising.
The NYPD released surveillance footage of three of the suspects, all believed to be in their late teens, who have not been apprehended as of yet. The attackers’ identities remain unknown as authorities continue to investigate the incident. The victims, meanwhile, suffered physical injuries as a result of the assault.
