Hidden for Days Woman Found in Keys Hotel Closet

KEY LARGO, FL – In a shocking turn of events, a vacation paradise turned into a crime scene when a woman’s body was discovered hidden in a resort room. Guests at the Omare Dive Resort were blissfully unaware of the gruesome secret concealed within their accommodation.

The incident occurred on the picturesque island of Key Largo, known for its coral reefs and clear waters. Instead of a tranquil getaway, the resort became the backdrop for a tragic homicide investigation conducted by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities identified the victim as 43-year-old Naen Tilman, who had been brutally beaten and concealed in a closet by a man she had recently met.

The accused, 33-year-old Dylan Lamb, is a local kayak tour guide. According to his confession to detectives, Lamb met Tilman through an escort service website, and they arranged to meet at the resort on April 5. Lamb claimed he paid Tilman $200 for sex but became enraged when she attempted to leave without fulfilling their agreement. In the ensuing altercation, Lamb admitted to striking Tilman, causing her to fall and hit her head.

Panicking, Lamb confessed to using towels and linens to clean the scene and hide Tilman’s body under the water heater in the closet. He then packed the bloody items and her belongings into trash bags, which he left in the room before checking out. Astonishingly, the resort’s staff discovered the bags but, instead of alerting authorities, disposed of them in a dumpster and rented the room to new guests.

Tilman’s absence raised alarm among her family and friends, prompting deputies to investigate. Upon their arrival at the resort three days later, they found her car parked outside. The general manager, recalling odd behavior from Lamb, mentioned the bloody linens and the closed-door conversation she had with him. However, by then, the crucial evidence in the dumpster was already gone.

Deputies searched the room, now occupied by different guests, and discovered Tilman’s body partially clothed and in a fetal position. She bore visible signs of trauma, including facial injuries consistent with blunt force. Lamb, who was on probation for a previous offense, was apprehended at his workplace nearby, with Tilman’s wallet found in his possession.

Lamb now faces multiple charges, including homicide, kidnapping, false imprisonment, and evidence tampering. The case has left the community in shock, raising questions about safety and the responsibilities of resort staff in such situations.
