Indianapolis, Indiana – A man accused of a deadly shooting inside a packed Indianapolis bar faced formal murder charges on Wednesday following a tragic incident that claimed one life and left five others badly injured.
Nicholas Fulk, 25, was charged by Marion County prosecutors with murder, aggravated battery, and possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon in connection with the weekend shooting at Landsharks in the city’s Broad Ripple entertainment district. The violence resulted in the death of Timothy Brown Jr., 36, with five others sustaining serious gunshot wounds.
During an initial court appearance, Fulk was appointed a public defender and is currently detained at the Marion County Jail without bond. The pretrial conference for the case is set for April 17. The Marion County Public Defender Agency refrained from immediate comments on Fulk’s charges.
According to witness accounts, the shooting stemmed from an argument between two females inside the bar, with indications that the dispute might have been related to a male individual.
