INDIANAPOLIS, IN – An argument over a delayed prescription at a CVS pharmacy erupted into a shooting, injuring three individuals and leading to charges against a 46-year-old man. The incident unfolded as Terry Roe Jr. waited in the drive-through for his wife’s medication.
Court records reveal Roe’s growing frustration, which led to a confrontation with a pharmacy technician outside the store as she awaited her ride. Tensions escalated when the technician’s boyfriend arrived, resulting in a heated exchange.
According to surveillance footage, Roe allegedly pulled out a gun and opened fire, injuring the technician and another employee inside the store. The technician’s boyfriend reportedly returned fire, and Roe later sought treatment for a gunshot wound at a local hospital.
Authorities have since arrested Roe, who faces multiple charges and is being held on a $150,000 bail. If released, he will be subject to GPS monitoring and house arrest, with a no-contact order for the CVS at 10th and Sherman.
The incident has left the community shaken, highlighting the potential for everyday disputes to escalate into violence. Roe is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow, where further legal proceedings will take place.
The case underscores ongoing concerns about gun violence and safety in public spaces, prompting discussions on how such incidents can be prevented.
