Laura Pollock explained that the incident was highly public, involving the victim being thrown to the ground and repeatedly struck by multiple assailants while others threw dirt or sand at her.

She also noted that the identity of those involved is protected due to their minor status, but revealed that five aggressors had been identified in total.
