In the video, one girl forcefully pushed the victim to the ground while another delivered multiple punches to her head. Damienne Darby, a representative of the British Columbia Prosecution Service, indicated that one of the youths involved was sentenced to two years of probation earlier this year after pleading guilty to assault in January. Since then, four other individuals have entered guilty pleas on the same charge, with court dates set for their sentencing in June and July.
