Man Arrested After Stabbing in Norman

NORMAN, OK – A heated dispute turned violent Tuesday, leading to the arrest of a 59-year-old man in connection with a stabbing on Comanche Street.

Norman police responded to the scene shortly after 10 a.m., finding a victim with a stab wound. The injury, while serious, was deemed non-life-threatening by medical professionals.

The altercation reportedly began as a verbal argument between two individuals. During the exchange, Anthony Rose allegedly produced a knife and inflicted a stab wound before fleeing.

Later that day, police located Rose at around 5:30 p.m. on Porter Avenue. He was arrested without incident and is facing charges related to assault with a deadly weapon.
