MIDDLESBROUGH, England — A 34-year-old man has been taken into custody following a serious assault on a woman at her home in Eston. The incident, which has left the victim hospitalized, occurred during the early hours of February 2.
Emergency services responded to reports of a violent attack just before 3 a.m. at a residence in the area. Authorities reported that the assailant forcibly entered the home and assaulted the woman before making off with two mobile phones. The victim was subsequently transported to James Cook University Hospital for medical attention.
