New York City, New York – A disturbing incident unfolded on Sunday night involving an unidentified man who assaulted and beat children in a Jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York. The man was caught on video footage dismounting from his bicycle and approaching a group of orthodox Jewish children who were playing on the sidewalk.
In the video, the assailant is seen smacking one child on the face and kicking him to the ground before throwing another child down and repeatedly kicking him. The children managed to flee, while the man casually returned to his bicycle. The Williamsburg 365 News posted the footage, sparking outrage and concern in the community.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) is investigating the incident and has revealed that there was another victim not captured on video. According to a criminal complaint received by the police, a man and his son were approached by a bicyclist in the same area while they were playing on the sidewalk. The suspect pushed the victim to the ground, causing a minor laceration to his head before fleeing southbound on Franklin Avenue. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
