Man Charged with Murder After Young Woman’s Body Found in Forbes, NSW

Forbes, New South Wales – A man faces murder charges following the discovery of a young woman’s body in a home in Forbes, located in central west New South Wales. Concerns about the welfare of a 28-year-old woman led police to the residence, where they found her deceased inside early in the morning, prompting the establishment of a crime scene.

Shortly after the grim discovery, a 29-year-old man was apprehended at a property in Fifield, northeast of Condobolin. He was transported to Parkes Police Station and charged with murder, as well as violating the terms of an apprehended violence order (AVO).

Describing the scene as “pretty brutal,” NSW Police Detective Inspector Jason Darcy extended his sympathy to the woman’s family, noting that the victim and the accused had been involved in a previous domestic relationship.
