NEW YORK, NY – A shocking incident unfolded in Times Square during the early hours of March 16, 2025, when a 45-year-old man was set ablaze by an acquaintance. The attack occurred around 4 a.m. at the corner of West 41st Street and Broadway, following a conversation between the two at a nearby food cart.
The assailant, using a flammable liquid obtained from the cart, ignited the victim as he exited a nearby club. The flames caused significant burns to the man’s face and arms, prompting him to run approximately 100 feet before a passerby extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher.
