According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD), the gunman, described as a Black male in his twenties wearing all black clothing and a surgical mask, fled the scene on foot immediately after the shooting. The investigation so far has revealed that the 29-year-old victim was an employee at the Seattle Soul Kitchen. He was reportedly working when the suspect entered the premises and began shooting in front of witnesses.
