HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A shocking incident has left a 61-year-old woman fighting for her life after her son allegedly attacked her with a hammer. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office acted quickly after receiving an emergency call about the situation.
The suspect’s friend, alarmed by messages received through a gaming app, reported that the suspect admitted to the assault. The friend urged him to contact the authorities, and after a delay, the suspect complied, allowing deputies to reach the scene promptly.
The victim was discovered in the backyard, critically injured and unresponsive. She was immediately airlifted to a hospital, where she remains in serious condition. Investigators suspect a domestic dispute escalated into the violent incident.
