LOS ANGELES — Criminal charges are potentially looming for several individuals linked to the death of actor Matthew Perry, as authorities near the completion of their investigation. The probe focuses on the origins of the ketamine found in Perry’s system at the time of his demise.
Sources close to the case, speaking under the condition of anonymity, disclosed that federal investigators are digging into who supplied the ketamine to Perry. This action follows after the tragic loss of the actor, best known for his role in the TV show “Friends,” who was found unresponsive at his home in Pacific Palisades on October 28, 2023.
Initial results from the autopsy by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner indicated Perry died from the “acute effects of ketamine.” Further details revealed by authorities last month indicated a launch of a criminal inquiry to uncover how Perry accessed and ingested the significant amount of this substance.
