Athens, Georgia – A second arrest has been made in connection with the tragic shooting death of 20-year-old Cameron Manago at Rolling Ridge Apartments off Kathwood Drive in Athens on May 27. 16-year-old Zyquavious Thomas was arrested several hours after Manago was killed and has been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, and criminal attempt at armed robbery.
Today, 18-year-old Janiya Moore of Athens was also arrested for Manago’s death on charges of felony murder and tampering with evidence. She was taken into custody in Jackson County with the assistance of the local sheriff’s office. The circumstances surrounding Manago’s death are still under investigation by the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.
