Murderous UK Man Googled “haunt me after they die” Before Chopping Wife Into 200 Pieces, Reports BBC

London, UK – A shocking case has emerged in the UK, where a resident allegedly killed his wife and dismembered her body into over 200 pieces. The gruesome details of the crime unfolded as Nicholas Metson searched the internet for disturbing queries such as “Can someone haunt me after they die?” and “What benefits do I get if my wife has died?”, as reported by BBC.

When authorities arrived at Metson’s residence to investigate, he callously lied about his wife’s whereabouts and even made a chilling joke suggesting she might be hiding under the bed. Further unsettling information came to light as it was revealed that Metson had also searched for inquiries like “How to get rid of a dead body” and “Does God forgive murder” online.

During the subsequent police inquiry, the 28-year-old Metson confessed to the murder of his wife, Holly Bramley. The motive behind the heinous act remains unclear, and Metson is set to face sentencing on April 8, according to BBC. Additionally, it was disclosed that he had enlisted the help of his friend, Joshua Hancock, to dispose of Bramley’s remains after keeping them in their flat for nearly a week.

Family members of the victim have alleged that they were estranged from Bramley for over a year prior to her tragic death due to Metson’s controlling behavior. The accused has a troubling history of animal cruelty and previous offenses against partners in 2013, 2016, and 2017.

Prior to the fatal incident, Metson had also inflicted cruelty on Bramley’s pets in barbaric ways as a means of punishment. Reports from the Daily Mail detailed instances where he had subjected her new puppy to being placed in a running washing machine and her hamsters to being blended and microwaved.

Following Bramley’s murder, Metson and his accomplice disposed of her body in a river in 2023. However, her remains were later recovered in the village of Bassingham, 12 miles away from her residence, as per BBC. The couple had initially met at Boston College in Lincolnshire in 2016 and had tied the knot five years later in 2021.
