Naked Suspect Shot in Chino Home Invasion

CHINO, CA – In a strange series of events, a man broke into a home in Chino, stripped naked, and was shot by the homeowner. The incident took place around 11:30 a.m., leaving the community in disbelief and questioning the suspect’s intentions.

The suspect, a 21-year-old male, initially wore clothing when he attempted to enter the residence. After failing to get in through the front door, he resorted to smashing a window to gain access. The homeowners, still shaken, declined to comment on camera but shared that the intruder’s actions were sudden and alarming.

Neighbors voiced their concerns about the safety of their community, noting that such unpredictable behavior would drive anyone to protect their loved ones. “It’s a scary situation, and of course, you have to defend your family,” one resident remarked.

Police arrived to find the suspect inside the home, naked and seemingly under the influence of drugs. He had sustained gunshot wounds to his legs and was taken to a hospital, where he is in stable condition.

The suspect’s presence in Chino, far from his Whittier home, remains a mystery. Residents suspect that the nearby wash, a known area for transients, may have been a factor in his unexpected appearance.

The community is now on edge, urging each other to stay alert and report any unusual activities. “This is a wake-up call for us,” a neighbor stated, highlighting the need for vigilance.

Once the suspect recovers, he will face burglary charges. The investigation continues as authorities work to piece together the events leading to this unusual break-in.
