Newlywed Wife Collected on Deceit: Shocking Murder Plot Inspired by Infamous Honeymoon Case

Aurangabad, India — A newlywed’s life was cut tragically short in Bihar’s Aurangabad district as authorities uncovered a shocking conspiracy behind his murder. Priyanshu Kumar Singh, 24, was allegedly killed by a plot orchestrated by his wife, Gunja Singh, along with her uncle and two accomplices. The chilling incident, reminiscent of a recent high-profile case in Meghalaya, has sent ripples through the local community.

The events unfolded late on the night of June 24, as Priyanshu returned home from the Nabinagar railway station. Initial findings indicated that his death was the result of a well-planned contract killing. However, police soon learned that the mastermind was none other than his wife, Gunja. This revelation has left many astonished, particularly given the couple had been married for merely 45 days.

According to Aurangabad Superintendent of Police Ambarish Rahul, Gunja had been involved in a long-term illicit relationship with her maternal uncle, 52-year-old Jeevan Singh. Despite family pressure leading her to marry Priyanshu in May, she could not shake off her affair. With her husband’s arrival at the station, Gunja allegedly decided to act on her dark thoughts and plotted his murder instead of revealing her secret.

Reports indicate that Gunja and Jeevan meticulously planned the execution of their scheme. Collaborating with two associates from Jharkhand, they arranged critical logistics, including obtaining SIM cards to maintain communication. On the night of the murder, Priyanshu called Gunja to inform her of his return from Varanasi. Unbeknownst to him, this call provided his killers with the necessary details to ambush him.

In the aftermath, Gunja was taken into custody on a Wednesday evening. During police interrogation, she reportedly admitted to her role in the conspiracy, as well as the involvement of her two accomplices. Jeevan Singh, however, has evaded capture, prompting authorities to launch a manhunt.

As investigators sift through evidence, including Gunja’s mobile phone and call records, the parallels between this case and the Meghalaya honeymoon murder have captured widespread attention. In both situations, the façade of marital intimacy concealed a sinister motive, raising questions about trust and betrayal within marital bonds.

Community members are grappling with the shock of the crime, expressing disbelief that such violence could manifest in a relationship that many viewed as a hopeful beginning. As expressions of outrage and concern grow, local authorities stress the importance of addressing the underlying societal issues that may contribute to crimes of passion and betrayal.

The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement is focusing on gathering more evidence to ensure that justice is served in this harrowing case. As more details emerge, the story stands as a stark reminder of the complexities often hidden behind closed doors.
