Pennsylvania Woman and Boyfriend Accused of Murdering 4-Year-Old in Heartbreaking Case

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A Pennsylvania woman and her boyfriend are facing charges in connection with the death of her missing 4-year-old son. Dominique Bailey, 28, is accused of murder, endangering the welfare of a child, false report, and abuse of a corpse, while her boyfriend, Kevin Spencer, 30, also faces charges related to the boy’s death.

The child, Damari Carter, was last seen on November 25, and despite the lack of a body, authorities believe he was fatally beaten. Damari’s relatives initially reported his disappearance in hopes of finding him.

Following information received from a media outlet about the missing child, authorities launched an investigation on December 30, 2023. They discovered that Bailey had allegedly claimed the child was fatally struck by a car, but investigators found no evidence to support this. Bailey was brought in for questioning and later reportedly provided information about being involved in her son’s death. However, the location of the child’s body remains unknown.

In addition to Bailey’s charges, Spencer is also facing charges of murder, criminal conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, false report, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse. Damari’s father, Darryle Carter Jr., expressed his shock and sadness at the news of his son’s death, describing the young boy as an “angel” and a “mini version” of himself.

The case continues to unfold as authorities work to uncover more details surrounding the tragic death of 4-year-old Damari Carter.
