Pizza Delivery Driver Shot Dead in Robbery Attempt

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A tragic incident in West Palm Beach, Florida has left a community in shock and mourning. A father, who had taken on a second job as a pizza delivery driver to support his children, was killed in an alleged robbery attempt, according to local authorities.

The West Palm Beach Police Department reported that the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when 33-year-old Tommie Anderson III, a Domino’s pizza delivery driver, had just completed a delivery in the central Palm Beach area. Allegedly, three individuals approached Anderson and attempted to rob him, ultimately resulting in a fatal shooting.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they found Anderson with gunshot wounds and he was rushed to a nearby hospital. Tragically, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

Surveillance footage captured the moments leading up to the incident, showing the three suspects arriving in a white Honda four-door vehicle. The individuals, two of whom were armed, were later located and brought in for questioning by the Florida Highway Patrol.

The arrested individuals, Marcus T. Williams, Avianna Williams, and Elijsha Wingfield, were charged with first-degree murder with a firearm and are being held without bail at the main Palm Beach County jail.

The victim’s family expressed their devastation, emphasizing that Anderson had only just begun his second job as a pizza delivery driver in an effort to support his children, leaving the community grieving the senseless loss.
