CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Central Virginia communities have been struck with a series of tragic deaths in homes over the course of less than two weeks. Law enforcement agencies are actively investigating these incidents to determine the causes and bring closure to the affected families.
Henrico County Police found two bodies in a home on Little Five Loop on Nov. 27, according to reports. It was later identified that the deceased were father Albert Moody, 70, and his son Malcolm Moody, 38. As police continue to investigate, no suspects have been found as of Dec. 10.
In another unfortunate occurrence, two individuals were found dead in a home on New Kent Road on Dec. 7. New Kent County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident and stated that they are not searching for any suspects, as they believe the incident poses no threat to the public.
Additionally, two more people were discovered deceased at a home on Biggin Pond Road in Chesterfield County on Dec. 8. The authorities reported that no foul play was involved in the incident. As of Dec. 10, police have not released any further updates about the case.
Lastly, on Dec. 9, Henrico Police found a man dead on Fairfield Avenue after responding to a reported shooting. The investigation is still in its early stages, and an update is expected on Dec. 11.
