ATTLEBORO, Mass. — A tragic incident unfolded early Monday in Attleboro, Massachusetts, resulting in the death of 47-year-old Richard McCormick. Police responded to a disturbance call at 3:25 a.m. between 5 and 6 Melissa Drive, where they discovered Richard outside with multiple stab wounds. Despite efforts to save him, Richard was pronounced dead at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
His brother, 51-year-old James McCormick, was taken into custody and faces charges of assault with intent to murder and assault and battery.
