Atlanta, Georgia – The recent salmonella outbreak connected to cantaloupe has officially come to an end, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Over 400 individuals across 44 states fell ill due to the contaminated fruit, resulting in 158 hospitalizations and six fatalities.
