The young boy has been identified as Jiovanni Dahl. Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office revealed that Dahl was under the care of Jenny Williamson, 49, who was also his great-aunt. Williamson is believed to have fatally shot her husband Steven Williamson, also 49, and Dahl before turning the gun on herself.
The grim discovery was made early Monday morning on West Bates Road after a relative, concerned by the lack of communication, visited the residence and found the bodies. This relative immediately contacted law enforcement, prompting an investigation by the sheriff’s office.
