Boynton Beach, Fla. — A tragic shooting incident at a local business resulted in the deaths of two brothers Monday afternoon. Charles Geragi, 67, and Richard Geragi, 72, were found deceased within an office at All-American Farms Inc. on High Ridge Road shortly after 4 p.m., according to local police.
Authorities have identified the suspected gunman as 39-year-old Nesar Dawla of West Palm Beach. Following a brief chase, he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police revealed that the Geragi brothers had arranged to meet Dawla to discuss the return of funds related to a fraud case involving Dawla’s brother, Sadman Dawla.
During this meeting, police stated, Nesar Dawla produced a firearm and shot both men, leading to their fatal injuries. The shooting is linked to an ongoing fraud investigation involving Sadman Dawla, who was convicted in 2024 on multiple charges of grand theft, defrauding victims of over $5 million. Reports indicate that while Nesar Dawla was implicated in the scheme against All-American Farms, investigators lacked enough evidence to arrest him prior to the shooting.
After the confrontation, witnesses saw Dawla flee the scene in a white Cadillac SUV. Police located the vehicle around 4:40 p.m. near Northwest 7th Court and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. However, Dawla did not comply, leading authorities on a short pursuit. The incident ended when police observed Dawla fatally shooting himself inside the vehicle after it crashed near Leisureville Boulevard.
In response to the situation, nearby schools and businesses were placed on lockdown as a safety precaution, though the shooting did not occur at any educational institutions.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Law enforcement encourages anyone with information to reach out to Detective Gleicher via email or contact the Boynton Beach Police Department directly.
