KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Authorities confirmed today that a married couple found dead in Taman Mutiara, Sri Aman, succumbed to multiple stab wounds inflicted during a violent incident. Investigators from the Sarawak police reported that autopsy results showed the male victim suffered eleven stab wounds to his neck and chest.
The post-mortem examinations were conducted at the Sarawak General Hospital’s Forensic Department, where medical professionals determined that cause of death for the husband was severe injuries to the neck and chest from a sharp object. His wife also sustained fatal stab wounds, with the examination indicating similar neck injuries.
Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mohamad Zainal Abdullah stated that the investigation into the homicides is active, although officials have yet to identify a motive.
