On Thursday, authorities released findings from an autopsy that determined the elephant died from severe skull fractures after a fall in the Manjolai Hills.
Wildlife officials discovered Radhakrishnan’s body at the base of a steep slope, lying on a roadway where it had landed following a substantial drop of about 15 feet.
