Spartanburg, S.C. — A shooting in the early hours of Sunday has left one man dead, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities. Officers responding to the scene around 1:20 a.m. discovered the victim in a driveway on North Center Street, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the location.
Witnesses reported that the victim had been attending a party at a nearby residence when the violence erupted. Many partygoers were present and some fled the scene in panic as the chaos unfolded.
