Tragic Queensland Murder-Suicide Mystery Unfolds in Albany Creek as Police Confirm Past Visits

BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND – Police responded to a tragic incident involving a suspected murder-suicide at a residence in Albany Creek. The bodies of a 46-year-old man and his 77-year-old aunt were discovered by detectives at a home on Jambaroo Street. The man’s 88-year-old mother, who was present at the time, thankfully escaped physical harm.

Detective Acting Superintendent Craig Williams revealed that initial investigations indicated the man, a registered firearms owner, fatally shot his aunt before turning the gun on himself.
