Trio Arrested in Killing of Engaged Couple

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Three arrests have been made following the deaths of a newly engaged couple found in their car, as authorities reveal the crime resulted from a planned meeting.

LeBron Rogers, 18, and two teenagers face charges related to the shooting of Ramon Moraga and Nadia Millowic, which occurred on June 30 during a robbery. The couple was reportedly unaware of the danger they faced when they met the suspects to trade vape cartridges.

The court records outline how the meeting turned violent when the suspects brandished a weapon as Moraga attempted to escape. Shots were fired, causing the vehicle to crash into a ditch where Moraga was discovered dead. Millowic was critically injured and later died in the hospital.

Witnesses provided pivotal information, observing the suspects at the crime scene and hearing them make threatening remarks. These details helped authorities construct a timeline of the events leading to the tragedy.

Further investigation linked a financial transaction between the parties via a money trading app, confirming the planned nature of the encounter. Evidence was also gathered from the suspects’ homes and social media.

Rogers and the two teens are charged with two counts of murder and armed robbery. Rogers is held on a $1 million cash-only bond as the judicial process moves forward.

The case has left the Scottsdale community mourning as officials continue their pursuit of justice for the young couple.
