PANOLA COUNTY, MS – A Mississippi woman is at the center of a bomb plot investigation that has left small-town residents in Lefayet County reeling. Christina Willis, 27, has been charged with attempted murder after authorities discovered a bomb under a man’s vehicle.
The incident began on June 20 when deputies were called to investigate a suspicious package. The package, located in the county’s southwest region, was identified as a homemade explosive device. Experts safely dismantled it, preventing potential harm.
A subsequent search of Willis’s residence on Highway 35 South revealed a cache of bomb-making materials, additional explosives, firearms, and drugs, intensifying the investigation. Another explosive device was reportedly found inside the home.
