TUCKER, GA – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at a motel in Tucker, Georgia, leaving a woman dead. DeKalb County Police responded to the Studio 6 Extended Stay Motel early Tuesday morning after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she later succumbed to her injuries.
Residents of the motel were left shaken by the incident. Some, startled by the sound of gunshots, opted to leave the premises until the police concluded their investigation. The scene was secured with crime scene tape, and evidence collection continued for several hours.
