WORCESTER, Mass. – Authorities in Massachusetts are actively seeking a suspect in connection with the tragic shooting that claimed the lives of a mother and her daughter in Worcester. Chasity Nuñez and her 11-year-old daughter, Zella, were the victims of the violent incident that unfolded in the Columbus Park neighborhood on Tuesday.

The Worcester Police Department revealed late Wednesday night that they are searching for 27-year-old Dejan Belnavis, wanted on charges related to armed assault with intent to murder and possession of a firearm without a license. Descriptions provided by the police indicate that Belnavis is approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Officials have cautioned the public against approaching Belnavis, stressing that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
