Argument Leads to Fatal Shooting at Houston McDonald’s Over Weekend, Police Say

Houston, Texas – A fatal shooting occurred at a McDonald’s location on the west side of Houston over the weekend, leaving one man dead. The incident took place at around 6 p.m. on Saturday in the 8100 block of the Katy Freeway near Chimney Rock, according to Houston police.

HPD Homicide Detective S. Chettrey stated that there was a confrontation between the victim and the shooter prior to the shooting. The 46-year-old victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and tragically passed away at the scene. As of now, the victim’s identity has not been disclosed to the public.

Authorities reported that the suspect fled the scene in an early 2000s blue Ford pickup truck. It remains unclear whether there was any prior relationship between the victim and the shooter.
